Meet Ella Green:

Ella Green was raised by her grandmother; her mama wasn’t able to care for her in that particular time but she did decide that Ella had a chance in this world.

Her grandmother raised her in a big farm full of chickens and ducks, her playground was among the cows and hay, her quiet spot was an old tire swing her grandfather made her before he went to heaven. Her grandmother made her aprons out of old flour sacks and braided her hair so it would not get knotted.

The farm made her, her grandmother taught her to love and forgive and her mama taught her to never give up.
